If you have previously held secure tenancies with your
local council or councils across the UK, then you maybe eligible
for the Right to Buy Scheme.

you spent at least 2 years as a secure tenant (either with a Council,
a Housing Association, or certain other public bodies such as the
armed forces etc) you can purchase your home at a generous discount.
Not Eligible: If your tenancy started after 18
January 2005 you will have to wait until you have spent at least

Under the Right to Buy scheme, you can buy your home at a discounted
price, lower than the full market value as long as you have
been a council tenant or a tenant as part of a housing association.
Why? Due to the length of time you have spent
as a tenant entitles you to a discount!
The
amount of discount you may receive will vary, dependant upon
various factors and conditions which we have to take into consideration.
For example:
How long you have been a tenant in your council home or housing
association property?
Which area or areas you have lived in across the UK?
1st Call Mortgage Services can, in most cases, arrange mortgages
to include extra funds for home improvements such as conservatories,
new kitchens, upvc windows and doors, bathrooms and building
extensions etc and debt consolidation.
